The Super Camper goes to Palos Verdes
With a swell forecasted to pick up throughout the day on a warm sunny Saturday, we loaded up the camper with a few boards each and cruised up the hill to Palos Verdes.
I know, I know, when are we going to take the camper somewhere more exotic you're wondering. I'm wondering that too. With the situation in Baja as sketchy as it has been lately, and any other surf destination requiring a long drive, right now we are stuck with local trips. It could be worse!
heading down to the cove...
Ryan, giving me his standard, "are you really taking another photo?" look.

The camper keeps the beers cold, but not when they are down on the rocks.
Even warm beer tastes good after surfing all afternoon!
Loading the camper back up for the quick drive back home.

Holly - I work out up here in San Jose with Scott Adams of Surf Stronger. He told me to check you out since you're doing a video with him. You will have a blast. He is so easy going and great at what he does. The work-out is killer - he tried it with me the other day and I could do maybe 80% of it but I'm older that you guys! I'm a writer - check me out on MySpace and Facebook. I'm working on my first novel, 'Night Surfing - A Story of Love and Wonder in the Waves of Malibu'. I noticed you like writing so I'd love for you to check out my book, 'The Shadow of a Dog I Can't Forget. When I get a blurb down for 'Night Surfing', I'd love for you to check it out and give me feedback. Anyway, didn't mean to go on for so long. Just wanted you to feel confident that you are in great hands with the Surf Stronger team and that you are going to be AWESOME as their new work-out model. Oh, and last, (I know I'm wordy, huh???) I LOVE your camper. I have three Golden Retrievers and I want to start traveling with them. I used to have an Airstream trailer but my guy and I are separated and he got the Airstream (Damn!) so I'm intrigued by your rig. Bye, Holly. Safe trip up here. And lots of good luck this week-end...Mary Kennedy Eastham
I love your site and your story. My husband and I are old windsurfers and have gone down Baja at Christmas for many years, so I relate to what you guys do. It's fun to see how you built your camper. I really admire your ingenuity. Don't give up blogging about it!
Hi,
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your camper build and the trips. I did a trailer build last year so I realize how much work goes into it. Your both very talented!!
Thank you, God bless..and have safe, wonderful times and memories camping!!
Be well, Pat
